“ALL Work and No Play makes Jack a Dull Boy” –the expression holds true for  the online classes that students consider boring, tiring, and intense. With no activities and only theory,   the students find the classes loaded with instructions that lectures that, more than anything else, make your mind sluggish. So, what is the ay out?

With time classroom learning has transformed into simulation-based learning concepts. So, now is the time when we can look forward to colleges and institutions adopting  the method of “Simulation-Based  teaching of management concepts”.

According to the research report “Game-Based Learning” is expected to acquire a major market share growing from USD 11.1 billion in 2021 to USD 29.7 billion by 2026. This is expected to be a market for the end-users such as  Education, Governments, Consumers and Enterprises, published by Markets and Market has a Global Forecast-2026.

Some of the products are Technology(AR/VR) based games, AI games, Assessment games, Progression games, Reward-Schedule, Location, Layout, Boundaries, Social feedback, Quizzes for the subjects of Finance,  Marketing, Retail, Human Resource, etc. Organizations and Management institutions are using these simulation learning techniques for the ease of learning, teaching management concepts, problem-solving, situational analysis, Time Management, Cost efficiency and  enhancing the effectiveness of feedback and performance measurements.

Giving students real-time business experience through simulated games i.e road-tested lessons is part of  the pedagogy at Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences, JIMS Vasant Kunj II

Education segment is expected to hold the largest market share of “Game-based learning” through four P’s of Pedagogy, Parameters, Perseverance, and Points i.e credit. Pedagogy of simulation-based management concept is an innovative approach that utilizes mind-boggling sessions of Advertising games (Ad-Mad Show), Catchy demand & Supply.

Business Strategy Games (Bizmaps), a Business plan with 4 employees and million-dollar earnings. Project scheduling(CAPSIM), capstone projects for healthy interdisciplinary interaction

Building Towers, (Make the fullest of Minimum resources). Paper Planes (Make an aircraft of the previous session and Q&A)  .I’s Have it(Cannot use the word “I” Be observant and listen and develop inter and intrapersonal communication. Two Truths and a lie (Essential flair of the Industry).

Using the above seven methods, game-based learning goes a step ahead in analyzing the  strengths and weaknesses of the students. Furthermore, it apprises them of their opportunities and threats (SWOT Analysis) to improve upon their performance, quality, quantity, time,  inference. Bachelor of Business Administration Course at JIMS-Vasant Kunj-II ensures Activity-based learning and Learning outcomes are compatible with each other. Perseverance can be measured only when we see the engagement of students in the class with interest and loyalty to imbibe something new that requires our concept-building techniques. Game based learning is, thus, the way forward.

Gone are the days when the consumers bought the concepts given on a roll of paper. It’s tested with future adaptability and accountability.

Many games have been introduced to make the concept of learning in classrooms fun. These are Flashcard-type games like Duell, Simulation (Plant Ville) Interactives(FunBrains), Quiz games(Kahoot), Strategy Games(EUROPA Universals), Puzzles(Crosswords), Reality Testing games (VR), etc.

Educational institutions are extremely responsive in adapting to the latest technological advancements such as integration technologies with AI Cloud and mobile techniques within traditional-based learning to overcome the industry-academia gap of employment.

Here we go with the accessibility of management learning concepts and treat the global advancement with Self-actualization and Value addition.

Thanks a lot for Game-based Learning Acceptability !!! Happy Learning !!
