GPT- 3 is an important artificial intelligence language model developed by OpenAI and partially possessed by Microsoft that has been generating significant interest and excitement in the technology. The model is said to impact a wide range of fields, from natural language processing to text generation and machine translation. Different from some of the well- known artificial intelligence technology like Siri or Alexa, generative artificial intelligence is conditioned to alter its answers grounded on the information it is given.

Through ChatGPT, all you have to do is give the Chatbot a short text to be searched, the technology provides content in response to these prompts within seconds. The ChatGPT server works through a machine learning model which is suitable to take successional data, allowing it to introduce content in natural language. Some compare the A.I. to a human brain; ChatGPT adapts learning patterns within the data that allow the bot to form content and prognosticate what should come next within those content. Lakhs of professionals, including marketers, programmers, preceptors, scholars, experimenters, copywriters, scientists, intelligencers, and others, use the tool to escalate their work. Still, the rise of converse bots raises questions about their impact on our lives and society as a whole.  This blog explores whether ChatGPT is a blessing or a curse for forthcoming generations.

Several educational bodies across the world have formerly banned the use of AI- grounded programs. In India CBSE has banned the use of ChatGPT in Secondary Education levels. But the AI- powered Chatbot from Silicon Valley that sets standards in industries such as technology, science and engineering startups has gained popularity. Some of the major advantages of ChatGPT include furnishing quick access to information round-the-clock ; also utilizing it for for personal literacy. ChatGPT’s capability to give prompt, precise and rational responses is also a huge advantage. ChatGPT is altering the way literacy was, especially in terms of upskilling. The new AI tool offers a chance to learn more rapidly and effectively than ever ahead. Still, counting too heavily on the AI system can hamper the development of critical thinking among scholars.

While ChatGPT has ptomised to revolutionize education with personalized literacy and real- time feedback. Sometimes AI- powered tool become a prop in cheating and plagiarism which is ethically incorrect. “Chat GPT can induce content that is grammatically correct, coherent, and contextually applicable  making it , in the process, difficult for preceptors to descry whether a pupil has written the work himself. This could lead to an increase in academic misconduct, with scholars using ChatGPT to produce assignments that are not their work. Still, it is important to note that ChatGPT itself is not the problem. The issue lies with how it is used.

Scholars must understand that ChatGPT is trained on a vast data set, but it is only as accurate as the data it was trained on. However, ChatGPT will also be poisoned and give incorrect answers, if the data is prejudiced or contains incorrect information. This can lead to the spread of misinformation and immortalize dangerous impulses. It cannot be used as an authoritative source of information. Numerous seminaries have banned ChatGPT because it relies on human-generated text, experimenters and creatives which turns upside the meaning of the text.

Emotional intelligence (EI) plays an important part in educational settings. A mortal preceptor can understand the feelings of scholars and respond consequently. A preceptor is able to furnish emotional support in grueling times. It is not the case with virtual Chatbots like ChatGPT, which warrant EI and therefore are unfit to comprehend mortal feelings.

Though Chat GPT is trained with a lot of information, there is  still some information that it cannot pierce. Due to this, it may not be suitable to give good answers about niche motifs. It may also not be concerned with the recent developments in different fields. AI Chat bots are trained on a massive dataset. However, chances are that some of the responses produced by ChatGPT will be poisoned, if the dataset contains partial information.

At last, eyes must be opened to the pitfalls of using ChatGPT in order to achieve a good grades. Indeed, without proper impacts set for new A.I. technology, it is still essential to be concerned with duties as a pupil within advanced education and to hold themselves responsible. It is essential to be cautious of the pitfalls of using an A.I. in relation to academic integrity.
